Alona Dare–Senior in high school, co-captain of the cheerleading squad, Homecoming Queen three years in a row, voted most likely to marry a movie star… and newly dead.
I’m the girl you hated in high school. Is it my fault I was born with it all-good looks, silky blond hair, a hot bod, and a keen sense of what everyone else should not be wearing? But my life isn’t perfect, especially since I died. Run over by a bus of band geeks—is there anything more humiliating? As it turns out, yes—watching your boyfriend and friends move on with life, only days after your funeral. And you wouldn’t believe what they’re saying about me now that they think I can’t hear them. To top it off, I’m starting to disappear, flickering in and out of existence. I don’t know where I go when I’m gone, but it’s not good. Where is that freaking white light already?
Will Killian–Senior in high school, outcast, dubbed “Will Kill” by the popular crowd for the unearthly aura around him, voted most likely to rob a bank…and a ghost-talker.
I can see, hear, and touch the dead. Unfortunately, they can also see, hear and touch me. Yeah, because surviving high school isn’t hard enough already. I’ve done my best to hide my “gift.” After all, my dad, who shared my ability, killed himself because of it when I was fifteen. But lately, pretending to be normal has gotten a lot harder. A new ghost—an anonymous, seething cloud of negative energy with the capacity to throw me around—is pursuing me with a vengeance. My mom, who knows nothing about what I can do, is worrying about the increase in odd incidents, my shrink is tossing around terms like “temporary confinement for psychiatric evaluation,” and my principal, who thinks I’m a disruption and a faker, is searching for every way possible to get rid of me. How many weeks until graduation? (Goodreads)
This is the first book of Stacey’s i read. When i first found it on Goodreads, see the cover and read the synopsis, i think that this book has a unique story (it’s not scary even though it’s about ghost. i don’t like horror) , humor, worth to be read.
Alona is the famous girl in her school, but unfortunately she was hit by school bus one day and dead. Her soul remains on earth. She found out that Will Killian, they said the gothic boy, can see her and the other spirit even touch them.
The longer she be with him, the more she knew why he always (i mean people think) acted strange, always put the earphone on his ears, and she finally knew his problem. The other story of his life. And so did Killian, he finally knew her secrets. There are some imperfections in her perfect look.
To me the story is simple, but entertaining, amusing. I love the say Stacey write this book with the dual character point of view because I’d love to know the boy’s feeling :D. i love the romantic part too. Well, maybe it’s not usual that a human and a ghost fall for each other, but with a really good writing skill can create a good, really good sense of their emotion while i read it. i like it

This book is intended for mature audiences. (Goodreads)
Actually after i read Fifty Shades of Greys, just a few pages, i didn’t finish it, I don’t want to read the other books of this trilogy. it’s because, you know, the sadistic of ‘the scene’. I won’t ever want to meet Christian Grey anymore if i were Anastasia Steele even thought he’s charming, rich, or whatever guy. I couldn’t imagine it if it happened to me.
But… my friend told me that in the second book, Christian has already fallen in love to Anastasia. So, there are many sweet and romantic things in this. And yes, there are. The most favorite part is when they both have a chat through the email. It was funny, sweet, amusing. I couldn’t keep myself from laughing of giggling while i read it.
I got some main idea of the story, they are Christian and Ana back to their relationship and it’s the real one (I have no idea how Ana left him, the book 1 will told me later i think). And then problems with Leila, she has some mental problem and looking for i don’t know whether Ana or Christian. And i like it because there’s no harm, danger thing when she’s around. There is Jack also, Ana boss and he like, want Ana. But he kicked out by Christian then. And finally, they’re getting married!!
Even though they are going to have a wedding, there is a disaster that come in the end of this book.
